San Ignacio Society Celebrates Our Lady of Guadalupe
Members and friends of the San Ignacio Society gathered at Saint Ignatius College Prep on the evening of December 8, 2016 in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas. Vice President for Mission, Fr. Lukas Laniauskas, S.J., celebrated the Mass of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Cuneo Chapel of the North American Martyrs. CLICK HERE to see photos from the event.   Afterwards, attendees assembled in the historic Brunswick Room for a festive banquet of tamales, caldo de pollo, and churros. It was a delightful way to celebrate faith, family, and the spirit of Saint Ignatius College Prep-AMDG!   The San Ignacio Society, named in honor of the founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and the patron saint of Saint Ignatius College Prep, was founded in 2015. The San Ignacio Society, whose efforts support tuition assistance for Latino American students at Saint Ignatius, plans to host events for the Latino as well as entire Ignatius community throughout the year.
