LoVerde '09 Appointed to IL State Bar Assoc. & Joins Law Firm
Congratulations to Illinois Lawyers' Assistance Program Associate Board member, Dominic LoVerde '09, who was recently appointed to the Illinois State Bar Association Mental Health Law Council for the 2017-18 term.  Forde Law Offices, LLP is also pleased to announce that LoVerde '09 has joined the firm as an associate and will be working in litigation and government affairs.

Swindle '98 Creates Lickety Spin
Tim Swindle '98 recently launched a new product that he developed with his 10-year-old niece. The toy, called Lickety Spin, allows kids to make their own candy fidget spinner. That toy has been very popular and so Swindle '98 and his niece (who loves fidget spinners, candy, and making stuff) came up with a product that combines all of the above. The inventors just launched on Kickstarter and you can see more by CLICKING HERE.

Zimmerman '88 Featured in Crain's Business for His Artwork
Jeff Zimmerman '88 created a mural for 1871's office space in Chicago. He and the company's CEO, Howard Tullman, have forged a friendship that goes back years. CLICK HERE to read the full article.

Herold '14 Wins National Championship
Midshipman 1st Class Jack Herold '14 recently won the Intercollegiate Squash National Doubles Championship for the second time. Herold '14 is also the captain of the 2017-2018 Navy squash team. Another Ignatius alum, Midshipman 1st Class Sam McCartney '14, and Herold '14 have both been starters and lettermen on the Navy team since their freshman year. CLICK HERE to read more.

Congratulations to Anita Lynch '91 who recently joined Disney ABC Television as Vice President of Data Architecture & Analytics in Burbank, CA. 

McKenna '05 Profiled in Crain's Business

Kelly Gardner '84 Speaks at City Club of Chicago
Marilynn Kelly Gardner '84 is President & CEO of Navy Pier, Inc. She recently spoke at the City Club of Chicago about Navy Pier’s $300 million redevelopment effort currently underway. Wei '06 Returns to Chicago to Speak at St. Therese Chinese Catholic School
Yi Wei '06 returned to her grammar school, the St. Therese Chinese Catholic School, to speak with students about her journey growing up in Chinatown, to attending Saint Ignatius College Prep, then Harvard, and then discussed her current position as the director of water, sanitation and hygiene at International Development Enterprises.
