Chris McGuire ’87 Finding Success in Life,
Love and the Pursuit of Happiness
Though he was always mathematically astute and enjoyed numbers
while studying at Saint Ignatius, Chris McGuire ’87 never dreamed
he’d end up where he is today. After attending Villanova University
for one year, then finishing up at Marquette University, he received a
B.A. in Broadcast Journalism in 1991 and fully intended to pursue his
dream of becoming a baseball announcer or a TV news anchor.
Today, he is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment
Officer of Phalanx Capital Management, LLC in Chicago.
