WAYS TO GIVE
The Development Department is responsible for fundraising in order to support the students of Saint Ignatius College Prep. Each year, the department raises millions of dollars for the Tuition Assistance Program, in addition to funds necessary to support annual operating costs, capital needs, and more. We raise these funds through appeals, personal visits, campaigns, the Parent Pledge Program and special events.
Annual Fund - Among the goals of the Annual Fund appeal at Saint Ignatius College Prep is to provide tuition assistance support for students who would otherwise be unable to attend Saint Ignatius.
Tuition Assistance - Where we need help the most! The Annual Fund largely supports our financial aid program and many donors designate their gifts to this program to support our students. These gifts assist us in continuing our tradition of accepting qualified students regardless of their family’s ability to pay the full cost of tuition.
Parent Pledge - We are pleased to present a new option for our parents - make and pay your pledge online! The parent pledge program provides over $2 Million annually to help bridge the gap between the current expense of educating each student and the cost of tuition.
Endowments - Endowments are often started by alumni in the form of class gifts or by friends and families as memorials or tributes. These Endowments help fund over half of the $2.5 million in tuition assistance offered each year, support school programs, professional development, and ongoing maintenance.
Planned Giving - The Fr. Arnold Damen, S.J. Society celebrates the traditions of Saint Ignatius College Prep and its legacy to the future.
Capital Gifts - Many opportunities are available for donors wishing to leave their legacy on a particular building or feature of the school.
Commemorative Gifts - Commemorative gifts allow friends and family to make a gift in someone else's honor or memory.
