Law Luncheon
friday, April 16, 2010 - Union league club of chicago
Thanks to all who attended the 29th annual Saint Ignatius Law Luncheon, which welcomed the largest group of attendees to date! More than 400 guests attended the event, which took place at the Union League Club in Chicago on Friday, April 16.
We congratulate Hon. Maura Slattery Boyle '85 (Cook County Circuit Court), who is the first female grad to receive the Award for Excellence in the Field of Law. She gave a touching address about her time at Ignatius and how the ideals and values she gained as a student became the foundation for her career and her family. Many of Maura's family members were in attendance to support her. In addition, an honorary diploma was awarded to parent of alumni and friend, Hon. Jennifer Duncan Brice (Cook County Circuit Court).
Special thanks is offered to luncheon chairs Tom Brabec '73, John Coleman '67, Kevin Conway '69, Dan Pikarski '90 and Curtrice White Scott '90, as well as members of the Saint Ignatius Law Society.
