Condition of Sale
- All property is sold “as is” and Saint Ignatius College Prep makes no warranties or representations of any kind or nature, express or implied, with respect to the property. In no event shall the school be responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representations or warranty, of description, authenticity or condition of the property and no statement in the catalog or made at the sale or in the invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such warrant or representation or assumption of liability.
- By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against the school or the donor of the property or the services. Neither the school nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage which may result from the utilization of property or services sold.
- Buyers must pay full price (cash, check, and credit card) to cashiers. Arrangements for the removal of all items must be made at the time of purchase.
Bidding Process
- Bidding will be conducted with paper bid sheets and some free-standing kiosks throughout the venue.
- All bidding is done by bidder number.
- Opening bids and bidding increments are listed with each item and may not be changed. Each raising bid must equal or exceed the necessary increment shown and must be in round dollar amounts. If the minimum bid is not met the item will not be auctioned.
- The categories will close at staggered times beginning at 7:45 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. Check the kiosks and video displays for winning bids.
- In the event of a dispute at closing time, the Auction Committee shall have sole and final discretion in determining the winning bid.
Item Pickup
- Report to the cashier for payment and receipt bid sheets.
Return to tables with paid receipts for pick up of items from category committee chairperson. No items will be released without paid receipt. - No refunds will be given. All legitimate bids will stand are final.
- All certificates will be ready for pick-up at the "certificate table." Please show your paid receipt to claim your certificates.
- Items must be picked up at the close of the Auction, between 11-11:30 PM or before you leave the event. We cannot make arrangements for your items to be delivered.
- Alternative pick-up for large items is Sunday, March 21 from 12-3:00 pm in the McLaughlin Room. All items not picked up by March 21 will become the property of Saint Ignatius College Prep.
